Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission provides services through its Centres situated in different parts of the country including Dhaka in the following fields.

Medical Services :

Identification of the liver, kidney and brain tumors, diagnosis of goitre and other diseases. Assessment of the level of the malnutrition, anemia and the functioning capacity of kidney and heart

Sterilisation Services :

Radiation sterilisation of surgical instruments, pads, globes, bandages, gauge, cotton, vasectomy, tubactomy and maternity kits and different kinds of ointments,
Food preservation by radiation processing
